PCL Blues

Thank you for your support of Arts Commons Presents PCL Blues!

What a season! Though it was sadly cut short, we shared some amazing experiences with you, exploring the blues in its many diverse forms. Wunderkid Jontavious Willis proved that age is no barrier for music talent, while Maria Muldaur played to our nostalgia with Midnight at the Oasis. Alvin “Youngblood” Hart showed us a new side of country blues, Todd Albright explored blues roots with his lightning fingered acoustic performance, and finally Delvon Lamarr demonstrated what a B3 organ can really do.

And to those of you who were able to donate the value of your tickets back to Arts Commons, we extend a special thank you. Your generosity has enabled us to continue to support local artists impacted by COVID-19 and continue to stay viable so we can welcome you back when it is safe to do so.

PCL Blues series is supported by title sponsor PCL Construction, who shares Arts Commons Presents passion for the blues, and the desire to share it with all Calgarians.

We have been overwhelmed by the love and generosity of our community and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The shows and activities that we present, are all to serve the creative soul of this city and we hope to announce the details around our 20-21 season in the coming months. We’re here for you, and we can’t wait to welcome you back.
