Accessibility Information

Arts Commons endeavors to create a pleasurable, hassle-free experience. If you have any concerns about parking, facility access, or seating that may impact your Arts Commons experience, please feel free to contact the Arts Commons Box Office at 403-294-9494.

Accessible Parking

The Arts Commons parkade has designated parking spaces available as do many of the local parking lots. For details call 403-537-7000 or go to Calgary Parking. Unfortunately, the parkade fills up quickly, but the City Hall parkade has a much larger capacity with many accessible parking stalls. During most Arts Commons Presents shows and Calgary Philharmonic concerts, there is concert hall access on the +15 level should you be coming from the City Hall parkade.

Accessible washrooms are available throughout the building; event services staff will be happy to direct you to the closest location.

Accessible Seating

Accessible seating is available in all of Arts Commons venues. For more information on accessible seating for wheelchair, physically impaired or visually impaired patrons, please contact the Arts Commons Box Office at 403-294-9494 directly to purchase tickets and to receive best available seating.

Hearing Assistance Program

Arts Commons is proud to unveil our newly improved hearing assistance program in the Martha Cohen Theatre, Max Bell Theatre, and Jack Singer Concert Hall. Arts Commons uses two types of hearing assistance equipment:

Stethoset - works independently from hearing aids
Personal Induction Loop - connects wirelessly with your personal hearing aid

Hearing Assistance is also available in the Big Secret Theatre and Engineered Air Theatre. If you're interested in using our hearing assistance technology, please speak to an usher, or Front of House Manager when you arrive at your venue.
