Jazz Series
Since 2014, the Jazz series from Arts Commons Presents has showcased everything the genre has to offer: virtuosic talent to propel jazz into the next decade, family celebrations of jazz in pop culture, to some of the greatest living legends in music history like Booker T. Jones, Trombone Shorty, and Jon Batiste. It has even made history, like in the 2022 world premiere of Canadian National Jazz Orchestra in collaboration with JazzYYC.
This series is currently paused – but stay tuned for updates regarding future jazz performances from Arts Commons Presents! In the meantime, you might enjoy Malpaso with Arturo O'Farrill & the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra or Diane Schuur with Raul Midón. In fact, try a jazz-themed Flex Pack!
