Artist Biography
Leah Cathleen is a Canadian fibre artist and instructor. Born and raised in Calgary, she is passionate about working with wool and teaching felting to young and old. Working as an art instructor for the Leighton Art Centre for 12 years, she honed her teaching skills and explored a variety of different art mediums. Through this exploration, Leah discovered felting and her preferred art medium. 16 years ago, Leah followed her fibre passion, and founded her business, ArtFelt Studio. Leah is excited to bring her love of felting to local schools and adult workshops.
