ARTIST BIOGRAPHY: 

Noreen Demeria, a member of the Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation in Manitoba, is the sole proprietor of Bear Spirit Consulting. Bear Spirit Consulting was created in 2005 and has worked with many urban and rural First Nation communities since. Noreen is convinced that people, communities and organizations are most effective and empowered when they work in collaboration and partnership. THE BEAR SPIRIT VISION Bear Spirit Expressive Arts is driven by a shared determination to strengthen and connect organizations, communities and people through creativity, art and organizational development activities. 
 
Their cultural and spiritual values are central to who they are. In all aspects of their work, they strive for balance and connection, to honor and respect cultural and spiritual integrity and diversity. 
 
Their approach is motivated by the individuals, communities and organizations they serve. 
 
They work with people to develop an approach that is grounded in their strengths and considers the challenges they want to address.
