When is the deadline for submissions?
November 30th, 2020 is the deadline for all the calls for submissions, including the RBC Emerging Visual Arts Program (The Ledge Gallery, Lightbox Studio, and Window Galleries) as well as the Media Arts submissions for the Broadcast Lab + 15 Soundscape.

Live outside of Calgary/Moh'kins'tsis or reside outside of Alberta.
What are the professional development sessions?
Will I have the professional development session dates in advance?
Yes, you will have the dates well in advance, anywhere from 2– 10 months in advance.
What spaces are programmed under The RBC Emerging Visual Artists Program?
Arts Commons is currently seeking Visual Arts submissions for the Ledge Gallery, Lightbox Studio, Window Galleries as well as the +15 Galleries.
When is this opportunity for?
Arts Commons programs 1 – 2 years in advance and is currently seeking work for September, 2020 through to August, 2022.
Will I get a notification if I am NOT selected for the call for submissions?
Only accepted applicants will be notified, you can email email@example.com for feedback on your submission from July – August 2021.
When will I hear back if I am accepted for the RBC Emerging Visual Arts Program?
All accepted applicants will be notified by June 15th 2021. Signed Contracts are due approximately by the end of June or in early July of 2021 for the September 2021-August 2022 Visual Arts Season. This is the same time frame for submission to the Broadcast Lab and +15 Soundscape.
Submissions are now closed for the 2020-21 Season. All accepted applicants will be notified by June 15th 2020 for the September 2020-August 2021 Visual Arts Season.
