Curator Spotlight
Authentically Indigenous
Authentically Indigenous embarked on its journey with a groundbreaking holiday market in 2015. This inaugural Indigenous marketplace marked a significant milestone as the first of its kind in Alberta, setting the foundation for our commitment to fostering Indigenous art, culture, and community. We are dedicated to enhancing the visibility and accessibility of authentic Indigenous artistry, cultivating a platform where tradition meets innovation, and heritage is celebrated.
Authentically Indigenous Inc. aims to bridge the gap between Indigenous art and the public, establishing accessible opportunities, events, and markets for Indigenous artisans to participate in. Our mission is to amplify local Indigenous creativity, arts, and culture by curating markets, cultural events, and workshops.
We specialize in cultural event planning and consultation, fostering connections between non-Indigenous businesses, organizations, and school groups, and authentic Indigenous experiences
