Jazz music can be percussive and steady, freeform and melodic, sultry and sophisticated, and the 2018-19 line-up has it all.
The 2018/19 TD Jazz season is bringing in the top brass of the jazz world, kicking off with legend David Sanborn. Join us for the many hits of Bill Withers, as performed by José James, a jazz artist for the hip-hop generation. Then, Bobby McFerrin shows off his vocal vocabulary, taking the stage with trusted members of his groundbreaking a cappella group Voicestra, in circlesongs. Finally, we celebrate Jazz’s illustrious past while looking at its promising future with the 60th anniversary tour of the Monterey Jazz Festival.
It’s sure to be a note-worthy year!
