Through a series of sculptural paintings, Block Parent explores the idea that our homes can act as masks. A happy neighbourhood filled with cute character homes, would instill a sense of comfort to many pedestrians walking by, however the mask does a good job of hiding the truth behind these walls. Block Parent walks you through the street where you’ll see a little white picket fence, framing a character home with happy little shutter eyes and a perfect bay window nose, and you’d never know the stories hiding behind them.
