Montreal-based singer, songwriter, guitarist, and multi-Maple Blues Award nominee Cécile Doo-Kingué performs a brand of blues that is irrefutably electrifying. Described as “soothing and soulful” by the Montreal Gazette as well as "one of Canada’s most electrifying and versatile guitarists” by CBC, Doo-Kingué has made a name for herself as a powerful and raw Canadian talent.
Her latest album Anybody Listening Part 2: Dialogues demonstrates the full breadth of her musical vocabulary, pulling influences from blues to jazz to folk to soul to rock n’ roll with passionate lyrics inspired by her Cameroon-American-Canadian heritage.
