Guest Admission & Allegro Auction 6:30 p.m.
More information at www.heartsout.ca
Hearts Out, presented by SapientRazorfish, is the annual fundraising gala for The Youth Singers of Calgary. The evening’s festivities include fabulous entertainment, a boisterous ‘reverse’ auction called the Allegro Auction, plenty of food, a dance floor so we can break it down until bedtime, and, of course, drinks, for those who require a little liquid courage to properly shimmy and shake.
After raising $82,000 in 2017, in 2018 the focus will be on raising funds for The Youth Singers of Calgary to purchase the 16,000 ft Performing Arts Youth Centre - creating a permanent home for the performing arts.
Party as a Vivace Guest ($110.00 plus CRF and applicable service charges):
Your ticket includes general admission for one, one drink ticket, a buffet dinner, and entertainment all night long.
Participate as a Primo pair ($500.00 plus CRF and applicable service charges):
Primo tickets are sold in pairs, because each duo receives a ticket to participate in the Allegro Auction. Arrive at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy the host bar at the Primo Reception and find seats for the live Allegro Auction, where every duo is guaranteed a fantastic prize worth at least $150 - just hope your names are called first! Then, kick back for a fabulous buffet dinner, two drink tickets each, and the evening’s entertainment. To purchase a Primo pair, please call the box office at 403-294-9494.
Support as a Bravura foursome ($1250.00 plus CRF and applicable service charges):
Take your celebration to the next level with a reserved table for four. Your package includes two Primo packages (four guests, two Allegro Auction tickets), plus reserved seating for your foursome. In addition to all other Primo benefits (like host bar at the reception, a buffet dinner, two drink tickets each, and the fabulous auction) you’ll also receive a swag bag, with our thanks. To purchase a Bravura foursome, please call the box office at 403-294-9494.
What is a reverse ‘Allegro Auction’? Check out HeartsOut.ca or call the box office at 403-294-9494.
THE PERFORMING ARTS YOUTH CENTRE
The Performing Arts Youth Centre was built in 2009 by the Youth Singers. What began as a large empty warehouse space in the Highfield Industrial Park area is now a vibrant 18,000 sq. ft.centre, housing rehearsal studios, a wardrobe area, a set building room, and a music library.
THE YOUTH SINGERS OF CALGARY
After seeing a need in the community, Shirley Penner created the Youth Singers in 1985. She then enlisted the help of Darlene Dusevic and Tricia Penner, and together they were able to create an opportunity for young people to express themselves onstage through music, dance and theatre. For the past 30 years, the Youth Singers of Calgary have been providing kids and teens in Calgary with more than a place to showcase and hone their musical talents, they’ve created a place for them to belong. The program gives kids and teens from varied backgrounds the chance to grow, forge friendships, and most importantly belong, one note at a time.
