Denis Lambert - SONGS FOR HOME

Theatre artist Denis Lambert’s career includes appearances in Broadway shows such as A CHORUS LINE, DOCTOR ZHIVAGO, WHITE CHRISTMAS and THE PRODUCERS. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, The Hollywood Bowl, The Kennedy Center, New York City Center, The Delacorte Theater in Central Park, at leading regional theatres across the United States and in his solo cabaret act at the acclaimed Feinstein’s/54Below in New York City.

In SONGS FOR HOME, Denis returns to his hometown of Calgary to perform here for the first time in nineteen years. It’s a show about home and created especially for his home.

Inspired by his grandmother Alice Ranks’ upcoming 90th birthday and the love of music she helped ignite in him, SONGS FOR HOME is a musical tribute to her and his entire family and community in Calgary. Come hear Denis’ personal take on the songs he heard on the radio growing up and some of Broadway’s most beloved music from shows like LES MISERABLES and WEST SIDE STORY.

Denis is an alumnus of the Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede, St. Francis High School’s Drama Department, the Youth Singers of Calgary and was a private voice and speech student at Mount Royal College. He also made his professional debut at Stage West Calgary while still in high school.

SONGS FOR HOME is a benefit concert for Bishop O’Byrne Housing Association (BOBHA). For more than 40 years, BOBHA has been providing affordable housing to those most in need throughout the city of Calgary. BOBHA is a registered non-denominational charity. All proceeds will go to this amazing organization. For more information, visit
