The Jim Henson Foundation Grant awarded “Milo the Magnificent” is a highly engaging puppet show about an aspiring magician. Using stunningly innovative puppetry, Milo presents a variety of magic tricks which don’t always go as planned.

Alex and Olmsted, USA. Alex & Olmsted (Alex Vernon and Sarah Olmsted Thomas) have been making puppets together since 2010. In recent years, they have performed at the international Puppet Festival Chuncheon in South Korea, the Festival de Casteliers in Montréal, and Symphony Space and LaMaMa in New York City. In 2019.

Completed in 1994 the Engineered Air Theatre carries on the tradition of having a theatre located in its exact location for over 100 years, even incorporating rescued decorative elements from the old Empress Theatre into both its theatre and lobby design. In the summer of 2016, the Engineered Air had a face lift with the comfier chairs and updated décor.
