This late night art-party takes its cues from the Surrealist and Dadaist events of the 1940’s and is tailored to adults with an appetite for the unusual. A combination of performances, music, and art-activations transform the Engineered Air Theatre into an all-night party. Audiences are encouraged to take-in the buffet of art-offerings until they’re ready to burst.

Hosted by your transcendental spiritual guide Sister Mary, Happenings Adult Late Night welcomes Raven Virginia, one of Alberta’s most celebrated Burlesque performers, Poet Paul Meunier, Drag Artists Felicia Boneé and DeVery Bess, DJ Jamal of CJSW’s Freshly Squeezed, Musicians Indigo Rose and Selci, and performance Artist Ira Dore. Don’t forget to stop by the coat-check for ‘Check Yourself Karaoke’ hosted by the fabulous and fierce Vanta Blaque and Double Double.

This venue is wheelchair accessible.

This performance is best suited for audiences 18 years and older due to mature content.

Gender neutral accessible washrooms are available in this venue. Gender specific accessible washrooms are available by speaking with our Front of House Staff.

This space is accepting of all-types of difference, and all attendees have a right to feel safe at Arts Commons regardless of age, ancestry, colour, family status, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, mental disability, physical disability, place of origin, race, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or source of income (Alberta Human Rights Act). In the summer of 2016, the Engineered Air had a face lift with the comfier chairs and updated décor.
