The one and only Duke Robillard is a musician of startling musical versatility and vocabulary, bringing his talent and signature sound to swing standards, ballads, rockabilly hits, and Chicago gutbucket blues. Not to be taken lightly, Robillard has received two GRAMMY nominations and performed alongside Bob Dylan, Jimmy Witherspoon, and Tom Waits, just to name a few.
In a one of a kind opportunity, Duke Robillard comes to Calgary with his acoustic trio, performing acoustic takes on songs spanning his illustrious 50 year career in blues, including several selections from The Acoustic Blues & Roots of Duke Robillard, which won the 2016 Blues Music Awards Acoustic Blues Album of the Year.
