“[an] eloquent ecological comedy-dance.” –The Globe & Mail
A High Performance Rodeo fan favourite, One Yellow Rabbit is diving deep into the vault to bring back one the comedic plays that started it all.
In an attempt to discover why a forlorn geologist passed away, three scientists investigate the land and the animals of a modern city in the future. Self-dubbed technocrats; researchers, geologists, and emergency measures experts, these explorers aptly refer to themselves as meat-fed professionals. Breaking into dance in white lab coats and bright red jumpsuits, these investigators are on the scene in this elegant comedy from Canada’s vanishing wetlands.

The Big Secret Theatre is not a secret anymore and at one point it wasn't even a theatre! The space, hidden away on the +15 level of Arts Commons was originally designed to function as a lounge. In 1987, One Yellow Rabbit Performance Theatre approached Arts Commons seeking space and the lounge space was leased to them on a trial basis. Today the company calls the Big Secret Theatre their permanent home.
