A performer of impressive vocal strength and dynamism, Miss Emily’s voice is raw and expressive, transitioning flawlessly from a plaintive cry to a sonorous growl. Rob Baker of The Tragically Hip said that Miss Emily has “an angelic voice with just a hint of sultry devilishness. This gal is a rocket ready to take-off!” Her style dabbles in both blues and country weaving in a compelling undertone of soul and rock. She digs deep into an unpolished emotionality and takes you along the for the ride.
Miss Emily has been wowing Canadian audiences since the early age of 12, belting out hits by k.d. lang like she was born to it. Canadian gem Miss Emily is in good company takes the Engineered Air Theatre stage this April.
