Anthony T. Russell, a first-generation Canadian of Jamaican descent from Calgary, AB, graduated from Bishop O’Byrne High School and pursued Law Crime and Justice at the University of Alberta alongside a graphic design diploma from Vancouver College of Art and Design. Despite challenges as a young black man, he's deeply rooted in his community. Using art to challenge stereotypes and address social injustices, Anthony shifted from resistance to celebrating melanin culture and educating on social issues. Through showcasing his work, leading workshops, and founding Fear Of The Unknown Arts (FUA) in 2020, he spreads joy and fosters societal transformation, believing in art and empathy to reshape the world.
