ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:

As one of the youngest female Irish-Canadian sculptors working with welded public art, Sinéad Ludwig-Burgess creates surreal artworks that question the notion of space and the human body. Sinéad has always been fascinated with the miracle of the human body and is curious as to how the mind influences the body to create healing and transformative mechanisms. Much of Sinéad’s art incorporates scrap metal and recycled materials as she excels at repurposing items to make environmentally conscious sculptures. Sinéad currently works and resides in Treaty 7 territory and continues to follow her passion exploring the limitless potential of metal.
