Zach Polis, a screenwriter, playwright, photographer, videographer, and St. Albert’s first poet laureate, acting as a literary and cultural ambassador to the Edmonton Metropolitan Region, has captivated audiences with his evocative words and innovative storytelling. Now, he brings his literary brilliance to the heart of Calgary.

Karen Hines is a writer, performer and director whose plays, productions and short films have traveled the globe from Dallas to Dawson, Calgary to Kuala Lumpur. She has won many literary, performance and production nominations and awards including twice being finalist for the Governor General's Award for Drama, and finalist for the Siminovitch Prize in Theatre. A National Magazine Award-winner and a Second City alumna, Karen has also appeared in numerous television and film productions and is the Dora award-winning director of cult horror clowns Mump & Smoot - coming soon to the High Performance Rodeo.
