Arts Commons Presents: Itty Bitty Arts Days: An Alice in Wonderland Tea Party

CALGARY – After a wildly successful pilot year, Itty Bitty Arts Days is back, inviting all families with infants, toddlers and young children to come and experience the arts in a fun, interactive environment.

“This is a chance for parents to introduce their little ones to a performance environment that is ideally suited to the needs of children from 0-6 years of age,” says Jenny Peters, event coordinator and artistic lead for Itty Bitty Arts Days.

After last season’s sell-out event, Arts Commons added a second day with two additional shows.  Children and their families are invited into Alice’s mysterious forest where costumed characters like the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, and the Cheshire Cat play, and the kids are encouraged to create crafts, sip tea, or simply enjoy the party.  After the tea party there will be an interactive performance with Alice and her friends, encouraging kids to get up and dance along!

For more information, and to purchase tickets, please visit artscommons.ca.  Please note, children 18-months old and under are FREE, but require a ticket.
